About your surveyor
Chris Greenhalgh is a Trade Qualified Shipwright and Boatbuilder, experienced Marine Surveyor and Marine Insurance Assessor.
He has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, specialising in boat construction and repair, including composite and timber vessels (traditional, moulded etc); marine and structural engineering; marine painting, coating, and spray application; mechanical and marine plumbing; and interior fit-outs.
He is an experienced manager of boatyards and their staff, having managed large marine operations both within Australia and overseas.
An experienced yachtsman, Chris regularly participates in offshore races, including Sydney to Hobart, Sydney to Noumea, Sydney to Southport, Pittwater to Coffs and National skiff and dinghy Titles.
